Jujutsu treats your working copy as a commit—always. No staging area, no "dirty" state. Just describe what you're working on and keep coding. When you're ready to start something new, create a new change. It's version control that works the way you think.

• Describe-First Workflow — The Working Copy tool window (left side) lets you describe your current work and create new changes with one click. No more "WIP" commits. • Custom Log View — Visual commit graph with inline change IDs, descriptions, bookmarks, and author info. Filter by text, branch, author, or date range. Multi-select changes to see a combined diff or stacked metadata. Copy change IDs and descriptions from the context menu. • Change Operations — Edit, abandon, describe, rebase, squash, and split changes directly from the log. Right-click context menus for all common operations. • Rebase — Full rebase dialog with source mode selection (-r/-s/-b), visual destination picker with commit graph, and a live post-rebase graph preview showing exactly where commits will land. • Squash & Split — Squash changes into parent or any destination. Split into two with a dual file-tree UI that lets you write descriptions for both halves. Right-click files in the working copy, project view, or editor to squash or split with those files pre-selected. • Restore Files — Restore any file to its parent revision from the editor, project view, working copy panel, or commit details. • Compare & Diff — Compare any file against any revision or bookmark using a visual revision picker. Show diffs of working copy changes or historical commits. Compare historical versions against local working copy. • Git Remotes — Fetch and push to Git remotes without leaving the IDE. Push dialog with remote selector and bookmark scope options. Dry-run detection warns before non-fast-forward bookmark moves; sideways pushes require explicit confirmation. • File History & Annotations — Full file history with diff viewer and Show History for Selection (line-range history). Line-by-line blame annotations showing who changed what and when. • Conflict Resolution — Conflicted files are flagged in the working copy and log; open the 3-way merge editor from the context menu to resolve them, with bulk Accept Yours / Accept Theirs. Handles all three jj conflict marker formats (snapshot, diff, and git). • Open in GitHub / GitLab — Right-click any commit, file-history entry, or diff to jump to it on the remote, with line-number fragments for editor selections. • Bookmark Management — Create, delete, rename, and move bookmarks from the log. Track and untrack remote bookmarks; tracked vs. untracked are visually distinct. • Clone & First-Run Setup — Clone Git repos with jj from File > New > Project from Version Control, with colocate option. Plugin detects your jj install and walks you through user.name / user.email setup. • Configurable Log Revsets — Filter the log with any custom revset expression. A Test button validates the expression against each repo and shows how many changes match before you save. • Multi-Repository Support — Work with multiple JJ repositories in a single project. Unified log view with per-repo filtering, and per-repository overrides for identity, log limit, and revset. • Real-Time Status — Auto-refresh keeps the UI in sync as you edit files. See modified, added, and deleted files instantly.

Getting Started

• Install Jujutsu if you haven't already • Open a project with a .jj directory (or initialize one with VCS → Create JJ Repository) • The Working Copy panel appears on the left; the Jujutsu log appears in the Version Control tool window
