About XSD to JSON Schema
This is a plugin for converting an XML Schema (XSD) file to a JSON Schema file. To perform a conversion, follow these steps:
• Once installed, go to Tools -> XML Actions, or right-click on an XSD file from Project view, and select "Convert XSD to JSON Schema". This action displays a dialog box with the same name. • Choose or enter the Input URL of the XSD file you want to convert. • Choose the path of the resulting JSON Schema file. • [Optional] Select the Open in Editor option to open the resulting JSON Schema file in the main editing pane. • For the JSON Schema version option, choose the version of the resulting JSON schema: Draft 4, Draft 6, Draft 7, Draft 2019-09, or Draft 2020-12. • [Optional] If you select the Restrict additional content option, then "additionalProperties" (for objects) and "additionalItems" (for arrays) will be set to false in the resulting schema. • [Optional] You can select the Preserve case of names from the XSD option if you want the names from the XSD to remain unchanged in the resulting JSON Schema.
