Hints

• Create your own functions and macros with our settings editor (File -> Settings -> Tools > Flexible Freemarker) • Settings are stored per project • Configure inlay hints via Settings > Editor > Inlay Hints > FreeMarker (uses your custom macro definitions) • For the Freemarker editor, we strongly recommend setting the severity level for html elements during code inspection to a lower level as HTML can sometimes be interrupted by templating code • "Help, my autocomplete seems broken in .ftl files": Validate the file type association. A quick indicator is the file icon, which should display the scipio logo in the lower right corner. If missing, go to "Settings" > "File Types" > "Flexible Freemarker" > List should include ".ftl". Add if missing

This plugin is a complete reimplementation of Freemarker language support. We built it because we needed better IDE support for our extensive use of custom macros and functions. Rather than just adding basic highlighting, we created a full Freemarker development environment that understands the entire language and lets you extend it with your own definitions.
