About DevOps KPI Collector
Continuous Improvement is a practice that encompasses all the feedback loops across the whole DevOps landscape.
This app will require read-only access to the information of your personal repositories to collect the statistics and generate DevOps KPI reports in Grafana, which is an open-source platform for data visualization and monitoring.
• Select the repositories you want to monitor and authorize this App
• Your installation will automatically trigger the backend logic to retrieve your data from the selected repositories for the first time. After this, the data will be retrieved at a certain frequency.
• Go to Grafana Dashboard for GitHub KPI. Select Sign in with GitHub and use your GitHub credentials to sign in. Now you will see the dashboard list.
• Since the data from GitHub may be insufficient sometimes. For the demonstration purpose, we introduce the Test Data Management for a better visualization, you can switch to TDM in the DataSource filter.
• You will see 6 metrics in the overview and can go deep with each one except Availability which is being worked on. The rest are Pull Request, Lead Time, Change Failure Rate, Deployment Frequency and Mean Time to Restore.
