Step by step Guide
Select:
• select metadata from the whole list of metadata in your org, or just from the changes detected in your org by Salesforce DX • select metadata changes or additions, as well as destructive changes (pre- and post-) i.e. metadata which have been removed • select by scroll and click, search, autocomplete, filter by metadata name, type
Assemble:
• assemble these metadata into Salesforce DX package.xml files • create or update a change-set
Deploy:
• deploy to a target Salesforce org
Track:
• commit all your changes to Github to the repository and branch of your choice • analyze differences between your Salesforce org and your Github branch, between 2 branches, or between 2 orgs
