About Public Repository Alerts
Alert notifications when one of your Github repositories has been made public, enabling you to act quickly if needed. When a change is detected GitGlow will send an email to all organization admins, using their GitHub account email addresses.
Setup is only one step:
• Install on all Repositories
Setup
GitGlow operates on an "install and forget" model. After installing on all repositories, alerts will go out on all existing and new repositories. The only maintenance required is: Maintain at least one organization admin who has an email address
Testing
For sanity purposes, you can verify alerts are working correctly:
• Create a new public GitHub repository • Toggle repository visibility to private • Toggle repository visibility to public
Individual repositories
It is possible to install on individual repositories. This will give alerts when those selected repositories become public, but it will not cover newly created repositories.
