Real-time Rust code statistics in your README
Ferris.love analyzes your repository and generates an embeddable SVG badge showing lines of Rust code, function count, struct count, trait count, and more. Your badge stays up to date automatically as you push new commits.
Automatic updates via push webhooks
When you install Ferris.love on your repository, it registers a webhook that triggers a fresh analysis on every push. You always see statistics that reflect your latest code, without any manual action.
Works with public repositories, no installation required
Any public Rust repository on GitHub can be analyzed and badged — even if the owner has not installed the app. For private repositories, installing Ferris.love grants the access needed to analyze your code securely.
Customizable badge layout
Choose which metrics appear in your badge using a simple query parameter. Up to five statistics are displayed alongside lines of Rust code, and both light and dark themes are supported to match your README.
Open and self-hostable
Ferris.love is open source and runs on Cloudflare Workers. You can inspect how your code is analyzed, contribute improvements, or deploy your own instance.
Getting Started
Requirements
• Permissions: We may require read access to your repositories' content, and read & write access to your repositories' webhooks. • Availability: Ferris.love is currently in Beta stage. Random unavailability is possible.
Setup Process
• Install this App on GitHub. • Go to Ferris.love and log in with GitHub. • Add your repositories to analyze. • Upon finishing, your badges are ready to use.
We will not store your code permanently. We only read repositories under your instructions, and on your behalf. Check our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more details.
