About GRGate
GRGate is a git release gate utility which autopublish draft releases based on commit status (aka checks).
A .grgate.yaml file should be present in the repository with a list of statuses which GRGate will use as requirement to publish drafted releases.
Getting started
• Install the GRGate Github App • Create a .grgate.yaml file at the root of the repository with the following configuration:
statuses: - e2e happy flow - e2e feature A
• Create a draft release • Start updating commits using the GRGgate CLI, for example:
$ grgate status set your-org/your-repository-name \ --commit 93431f42d5a5abc2bb6703fc723b162a9d2f20c3 \ --name "e2e happyflow" \ --status completed \ --state success $ grgate status set your-org/your-repository-name \ --commit 93431f42d5a5abc2bb6703fc723b162a9d2f20c3 \ --name "e2e happyflow" \ --status completed \ --state success
