Adds playback speed and download controls directly into the SoundCloud player.

Enhance your SoundCloud experience with native playback speed controls and one-click track downloads.

The "SoundCloud Downloader And Playback Speed" extension is a lightweight tool that seamlessly integrates directly into the SoundCloud web player.

Whether you want to slow down a mix to hear a transition, speed up a podcast, or save a track for offline listening, this extension provides the tools right at your fingertips.

Key Features:

• Custom Playback Speeds: You can easily change the listening speed using an integrated dropdown menu. Available speed options include 0.5x, 0.75x, 1.0x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2.0x.

• Persistent Speed Control: The extension ensures your selected playback speed remains active and overrides the default player settings, even if SoundCloud tries to reset it during buffering.

• One-Click MP3 Downloads: A dedicated download button allows you to instantly save the currently playing track. The extension bypasses standard stream chunks and intelligently fetches the direct progressive MP3 stream for a clean download.

• Seamless UI Integration: The new controls are injected directly into SoundCloud's dynamic bottom player so they always stay on screen.

• Native Look and Feel: The buttons are styled with a flat dark gray to perfectly match SoundCloud's inactive UI. When hovered over, the icons and text turn into the signature SoundCloud orange color to match the site's native interactivity.
