About Google Meet Auto Settings
Automatically controls camera and microphone settings for Google Meet
Take control of your privacy and meeting experience on Google Meet! Google Meet Auto Settings is a modern Chrome extension that automatically disables your microphone and camera by default when you join a meeting. No more scrambling to mute yourself or turn off your camera—your preferences are applied instantly, every time.
Features:
Auto-disable mic and camera: Join meetings with your mic and/or camera off by default. Modern UI: Beautiful, intuitive toggles right below the Google Meet controls. Popup settings: Instantly set your default preferences from the extension popup. Privacy-first: No data leaves your browser. No analytics, no tracking. Customizable: Choose your default for each—mic, camera, or both.
How it works:
Set your default preferences in the extension popup. When you join a Google Meet, your mic and camera are automatically set according to your choice. Change your mind? Instantly update your preference from the popup or the meeting UI.
Why use this extension?
Prevent accidental unmuted joins. Protect your privacy in every meeting. Save time and avoid awkward moments.

User counts are read from public Chrome Web Store listing pages. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
