About Save Pinned Tabs
Save, restore, autoload, import, and export named groups of pinned tabs.
Save Pinned Tabs lets you save the pinned tabs in the current window as a named set.
From the toolbar popup, you can:
- Save a new set of pinned tabs.
- Load a saved set. Loading replaces the pinned tabs in the current window.
- Update the currently loaded set.
- Delete saved sets.
- Select one set to load automatically when the browser starts.
From the extension’s Options page, you can:
- Export all saved tab sets to a JSON backup file.
- Import tab sets from a JSON backup file. Imported sets overwrite existing sets with the same name.
Saved tab sets use Chrome’s extension sync storage so they can be available through the browser’s extension-storage synchronization.
This extension will always be free and open source. If you want to support our work with a donation, please visit our OpenCollective at https://opencollective.com/save-pinned-tabs -- thank you!

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
