About Notemo - LMS lecture & YouTube transcripts and summaries
Turn school LMS lectures and YouTube videos into text in one click, then get summaries, key concepts, quizzes and practice exams.
Notemo is a Chrome extension that turns lecture videos into text and organizes them with AI.
Key features
- LMS lecture detection: no need to play your school LMS lecture to the end. One tap on the floating button transcribes it.
- YouTube: press the button next to the video, or use the shortcut Alt+Shift+L (Mac: Ctrl+Shift+L).
- Live status: see your remaining credits and transcription progress right on the floating button.
- Timestamped transcripts: click any sentence to jump to that moment in the video.
- Multilingual: Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese are detected sentence by sentence. English lectures stay in English.
- Handwritten-style notes: what the professor stressed or repeated, and anything said about the exam, organized into notes that look handwritten.
- Summaries and AI questions: get a summary of the lecture and ask the AI about anything you missed.
- Organized by course: keep transcripts together by course with projects.
How to use
- Install the extension and sign in at notemo.app.
- Open an LMS lecture or a YouTube video.

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
