About No AI Google Slides
Hides Google Slides's AI features. Unofficial, not affiliated with Google Slides. Local only.
No AI Google Slides removes Gemini and the AI image generator from the Slides editor — so building a deck is about your content, not AI you didn't ask for.
Google Slides keeps pushing AI: the "Ask Gemini" sidekick and a "Help me visualize" AI image generator. This extension hides them, leaving the rest of Slides exactly as it was.
WHAT IT HIDES • The "Ask Gemini" sidekick button and panel • The "Help me visualize" AI image generator
WHAT IT LEAVES ALONE • Your slides, themes, layouts and the full toolbar • Insert, comments, sharing and everything else you actually use
HOW IT WORKS • A simple on/off toggle in the toolbar — flip it off and Gemini comes right back • Works locally: no accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, nothing leaves your browser • The only permission is "storage", used solely to remember your on/off choice
Unofficial. Not affiliated with Google.

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
