Wallpaperify - Custom Page Backgrounds users statistics

Replaces dull white, gray, or dark page backgrounds with your own picture or an animated wallpaper, plus a frosted glass effect.

Tired of staring at plain, washed-out pages all day? Wallpaperify puts your own wallpaper behind them, so the web finally looks like yours.

It's quiet about it, too. Pages that already have their own look are left completely alone.

PICK YOUR WALLPAPER

• A picture from your own machine • Or start with one of the built-in wallpapers and themes — no setup, they work the moment you install

ONLY WHERE YOU WANT IT

Wallpaperify picks out the plain, colourless pages as you browse and leaves already-designed sites untouched. If you disagree with a call it makes, turn it on or off for that site from the toolbar — and slide the sensitivity up or down to change how eager it is everywhere else.

FROSTED GLASS

Flat panels, cards, buttons and search boxes turn into soft translucent glass, so your wallpaper shows through the whole page instead of peeking out around the edges. Dial in the tint, the blur strength and how much the wallpaper is dimmed until it looks right to you.

EVERY SITE, NOT A LIST OF SITES

It works on sites nobody has set up in advance, including ones I have never opened myself. There is nothing to configure per site unless you want to.

EASY ON THE EYES

• Recolour body text, links, and quieter labels — each on its own, only if you want to • Put a soft frosted panel behind text so it stays readable over a busy wallpaper: whole blocks, word by word, or letter by letter, with soft edges and an adjustable tint • Scale text up or down without touching anything else

YOUR SETTINGS, PER SITE

Every slider and toggle can be set once for everywhere, or tuned for a single site and left that way. The toolbar always shows which one you're editing.

WORKS BEYOND CHROME

Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and other Chromium browsers.

YOUR PRIVACY

Your settings, your pictures and your per-site preferences stay in your own browser. There are no accounts and no ads.

When you switch Wallpaperify off, it sends me that site's name (never the page address) and the settings you were using, so I can fix what went wrong there. Nothing that identifies you is sent. You can turn this off any time in Settings → Privacy. Bug reports are only sent if you write and submit one. Full details: https://igtx.pages.dev/wallpaperify/privacy

Free, and no account needed. If it looks wrong on a site you use, there's a report button inside the extension — send it and I'll fix it.
