These screenshots also use the DeepSeek palette of the author's other theme plugin, DSH Claude Style: it recreates the look and feel of Claude Code Desktop inside DSH, in a Claude palette and a DeepSeek one. If the default theme is not quite your taste, give it a try. The workspaces and sessions in the screenshots are sample data.

Configuration
For TUI compatibility, plugin-provided tools are injected into context by default. You can configure the import tools in Settings to not inject into context or inject partially, which saves a significant amount of tokens.
For full tool / command usage, see docs/USAGE.md.
Third-party plugins can use the optional chatImport host service through scanDiscover(), importPath(), importAll(), and resumeSummary() to reuse the same discovery, import, batch-import, and handoff-summary pipelines as the built-in tools and commands. Single-session results include sessionId; callers should degrade gracefully when the service is absent.
Features
| Capability | Entry Point | Description |
| Import | Sidebar panel "Import" tab | Import conversations from other agents, preserving reasoning, tool call results, and system prompts (optional) | | Import from file | Panel "Import from file" / /import auto | Any local file or directory: three-level detection (explicit format > content marker > parser trial), preview first, an optional "search subfolders?" prompt for directories, and — when every parser fails — a ready-to-send agent task brief plus a registered dsh-chat-import-convert skill | | Retract Import | Sidebar panel "History" tab | View import history and delete sessions created by this plugin with one click | | Export | Context tool | Serialize DSH sessions back to external agents | | Ignore | Automatic + /ignores commands | Archive / delete / workspace-removal auto-registers the source so rescans skip it; /ignore, /unignore manage the table |
Codex discovery prefers saved session titles (thread_name in session_index.jsonl), including renamed sessions. When no indexed title is available, it falls back to the first real user prompt using the same extraction as import; injected page context is excluded. The title index is streamed line by line, using the last valid title record for each session.
Codex activity time uses the latest valid timestamp found in bounded transcript head and tail windows, combined across rollout pages. File modification time is a fallback when no transcript timestamp is available, so discovery can return activity times even when the host file service does not expose modification times. A timestamp inside a truncated record can be missed.
Claude Code fork sessions (the newer desktop session menu and --fork-session) are discovered and imported as well: a fork transcript opens with a verbatim copy of the parent's records and appends its own from the fork point, so the main-transcript test looks at both ends of the file (the file name's stem appearing at either end means the file owns that session) and the session identity is the last sessionId in the transcript — previously such files were classified as subagent auxiliary transcripts and skipped wholesale. The copied prefix (the parent's history) stays in the log: a fork's context does contain it, so the parent and the fork overlap by one stretch of history.
Hermes discovery scans %LOCALAPPDATA%\hermes and ~/.hermes on Windows. If LOCALAPPDATA is unset, it uses ~/AppData/Local/hermes for the Windows data directory. On macOS and Linux, it scans ~/.hermes.
