About @microsoft/workiq
Microsoft Work IQ
Query your Microsoft 365 data with natural language — emails, meetings, documents, Teams messages, and more.
Work IQ is a CLI and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects AI assistants to your Microsoft 365 Copilot data. Ask questions like "What did my manager say about the project deadline?" or "Find my recent documents about Q4 planning."
See project README for usage details.
📋 Changelog
Unreleased
get_debug_linknow checks the authenticated Microsoft tenant at call time and reuses the session client.- Replaces the
userConsenttool argument with per-invocation confirmation through an MCP host supporting form elicitation. Unsupported hosts and unapproved requests cannot generate links. This relies on a trusted host obtaining the human's answer. - Rejects unrelated or ambiguous URLs in debug/share responses instead of returning the first HTTPS link. Link format validation does not replace service-side conversation authorization.
1.0.1
workiq asknow streams responses by default in both one-shot and interactive mode. Replace the old--streamingflag with the default behavior; use--no-streamingto buffer the full response.--jsonstill returns one buffered JSON document.- Displays agent activity updates, including search progress, while a streaming answer is being generated. Developer-mode requests now include progress updates.
- Forwards agent activity updates to MCP clients as progress notifications and exposes them through
AskChunk.Progressin the SDK. - Adds terminal-output sanitization for progress text.
- Adds the
X-WorkIQ-ProductEntryPoint: CLIheader to the SDK-created A2A HTTP pipeline and forwards custom headers through CLI client creation, endpoint fallback, and the local A2A relay. - Updates the build SDK from .NET 10.0.109 to 10.0.110.
- Aligns the CLI and npm package versions for a new public release, with a CI check that rejects mismatched npm manifests.
