AI-powered workflow generator for N8N with floating chatbot UI

N8N AI Workflow Generator – 11,000+ Workflows, Self-Hosted Support, 100% Free

Supercharge your N8N automation with the ultimate AI-powered extension. Search and instantly import over 11,000 official n8n template workflows with a single click — no API key, signup, or account required. A seamless floating chatbot lives right inside your N8N editor, on n8n.cloud AND on your own self-hosted instance, letting you search, preview, and import workflows without ever leaving the canvas.

Key Features:

11,000+ official n8n workflows — Search the full official n8n template library instantly, with real categories, author info, and view counts. No setup, no account, no limits.

Self-hosted n8n support — Connect your own n8n URL (self-hosted or custom domain) directly from the extension popup, and the assistant activates there too — not just on n8n.cloud.

No API key needed to search — Browse, preview, and import any of the 11,000+ workflows completely free. Search never requires a key or signup.

AI workflow generator — Describe your automation in plain English and let AI build the full workflow JSON for you, powered by your choice of OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic), or Google Gemini using your own API key.

Smart chatbot interface — Get workflow help, best practices, and troubleshooting tips directly inside the N8N editor, without switching tabs or searching docs.

One-click import — Preview any workflow's node diagram before importing, then copy it or paste it straight onto your N8N canvas with a single click.

Workflow history — Every workflow you generate is saved locally so you can revisit, re-download, or export your past creations anytime.

Your keys, your data — Your AI API key is stored locally in your browser and sent directly to your chosen provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) — never to us, and never logged anywhere.

Completely free — No usage limits, no license keys, no premium tiers, no hidden costs. Every feature is unlocked for everyone from install.

How It Works:

1. Install the extension and open n8n.cloud, or connect your self-hosted n8n instance from the popup. 2. Click the floating AI button in the bottom corner of your N8N editor. 3. Search the 11,000+ workflow library, or switch to Generate mode and describe what you want to automate. 4. Preview the result, then copy or paste it directly onto your canvas.

Why It's Free:

This extension doesn't sell your data, doesn't require an account, and doesn't gate features behind a paywall. Workflow search runs against n8n's own public template API at no cost to you. AI generation uses your own API key with your chosen provider, so you only ever pay your AI provider directly for what you use — nothing goes through us.

Perfect For:

Beginners who want to learn N8N faster by exploring real, working community-style templates instead of starting from a blank canvas.

Power users who want to skip repetitive setup by generating boilerplate workflows in seconds and refining them by hand.

Self-hosters who want the same AI assistant experience on their own n8n deployment, not just the official cloud product.

Anyone who wants full control of their AI costs and provider choice instead of being locked into one vendor.

Privacy & Security:

No account or signup required to use the extension. API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage and are sent directly to the AI provider you choose — they never pass through any server we operate. Workflow history and connected-instance settings are also stored locally on your device. We do not track your usage, collect analytics, or sell any data.

Whether you're a beginner or a power user, N8N AI Workflow Generator makes automation easier, faster, and smarter — on official n8n.cloud or your own self-hosted setup. Start building and exploring workflows today with no barriers.
