About Limitify for YouTube
Limit your daily YouTube views
Limitify for YouTube is an extension that helps you manage YouTube by setting a daily limit on the number of videos you watch. Instead of stopping you based on time, it controls your viewing by completed videos, so playback won’t be cut off in the middle and cause frustration. It also includes a Shorts scroll blocker to prevent endless swiping through short videos.
📌Features ▸ Set a daily cap on the number of videos ▸ Per-day (Mon–Sun) limits to match your weekly schedule ▸ Whitelist channels that don’t count toward the limit (e.g., study/work) ▸ Simple popup to check today’s count and adjust settings ▸ Block Shorts scrolling to prevent endless viewing
📌Great for ▸ Reducing “just one more video” without harsh interruptions ▸ Marking a clear end point after finishing a video ▸ Letting only specific channels count for kids or learning ▸ Prevent endless Shorts scrolling and avoid wasting time
⚠️Note ▸ This extension limits by number of videos, not viewing time. ▸ Limitify for YouTube is not affiliated with Google or YouTube. ▸ Free. Optional tip only. No in-app purchases.

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
